I think a few players need a rest barbet and Dickie etc. I’d start Archer , kakay , Dunne , Thomas , Dozzell , Albert and Kelman and mcallum if fit .

The depth of our squad isn’t so impressive, seen today (Thomas and Dozzell) and against Orient. If we field a real B team we will be beaten easily if Oxford starts their best 11. It doesn’t matter though, the League is much more important and it looks like many players need a rest. The problem is that I cannot put together a squad for the match without including lots of regular players, as our squad isn’t big enough.

Problem being is we could do with a nite out at a big PL club , won't get that if we play the reserves . Catch is we can't afford anymore injuries. I've only bought a ticket as I've missed going to football . Usually watching us labor against lower league opposition is a thing of the past for me

You cant let players go out on loan and then say the squad is too small. It would have been perfect for Masterson and Bettache. Or keep the likes of Hamileinen and Kane around too.
Play the fringe players and the U23s and be damned with it. The lads in the U23s are men, get them on the pitch and give them a chance to prove themselves. They need to cut their teeth...get on with it and see how it pans out.

If they're not injured they need to play. We're only a few games in and international break is looming. If they're blowing out of their backsides a couple of weeks into season there really isn't much hope for the next 8 months is there?
Oxford is an opportunity to learn how to win a home game in readiness for Saturday. Game is a free hit, we may as well use it to hone the likely starting XI for Cov game.
Beating Oxford potentially unlocks £0.25million if we draw a big gun away, we can't sniff at that sort of money; it might even fund a loan or two.
Finally, from a morale point of view, getting dumped out of Cup at home midweek by lower level opposition does nothing for mood and momentum.... it looked to me that the club and fans very much enjoyed the streaky win at Os, I think that night was a factor in two subsequent sterling away performances in the league.

I think Duke-McKenna is a certain starter. However, it wouldn't be fair to put Duke-McKenna and Dozzell alongside each other in central midfield, so I believe Ball will play alongside him. Dozzell might be used next to Thomas further upfield behind Kelman as the lone striker. This team is my best guess, assuming Moses is suspended - I admit I don't know the suspension rules well enough:
Keeper: Archer or Walsh
Back three: Kakay, Dunne and one of either Dickie or Barbet
Wingbacks: Adomah and McCallum
Central midfield: Ball and Duke-McKenna
Two behind the striker: Dozzell and Thomas
Striker: Kelman
I think Warburton will get Dozzell and Thomas back on the pitch as soon as possible - it is the best way to get the Barnsley match out of their system (and they are not so tired after playing only 35 min).
Adomah isn't a good wingback to be honest, but we have few options with all the defensive injuries. If Warburton can afford to play both Dickie and Barbet he can of course use Barbet as left back and McCallum as right back and play a back three of Kakay, Dickie and Dunne. In such case Adomah might start as part of the front three.
To be honest, if Chair, Willock, Dykes, Austin and Johansen aren't playing I struggle to see who should score our goals, unless we get a new Dickie show of course.
Armstrong and Ramkilde might be on the bench as will some other youngsters.
I could be completely mistaken of course and we field the strongest possible set-up with Chair, Willock, Austin, Johansen etc.

Will be very interesting to see the line up on tuesday
