Agree, and playing out of position too. Don't think Barbet gets enough love from the fan base. The talk is always of Dickie and even Jordi but it has been Barbet who has made a couple of goal-saving interventions in the last couple of games and he can certainly pass a ball. Its not about one being better than the other but think they are an excellent three. Jordi tho is often injured whereas Barbet was the only player in the entire football league to play every minute last season. Shows commitment, particularly when he played thru a bad shoulder injury.

Barbet in a back 4 has often seen reasonable performances with some errors from him , but in a back 3 he is a different player. He looks far more comfortable and doesn’t get the praise he deserves. Let’s hope a new deal is offered to him sooner than later.

Just watching the highlights on the website and saw the 1st goal for Barnsley. Notice Kakay was in dreamland and late pushing up, only did so after the ball was played forward then ran back looking at the assistant ref as if to ask "why didn't you flag him offside"?

That was really poor from kakay , he should never have been that deep compared to the other defenders
