We should never have given them so much room in midfield in the first half. Warbs mentioned it after the game why he got Field on at half time.
Watching the game I could see we needed more beef in that area.
Second half we were alot better and held our own with the best team in the division.

very strange game always felt like we were in the game poor mistake from Dieng for the goal, poor penalty from Dykes needs to realise the keepers study pen takers and may need to do something different other than blast it now and again had chances get level we seemed a bit wanting in midfield. they moved the ball well, there was a difference in us when uncle and Austin came on and had a few more chances to level before that got their r 3rd

Norwich are a standout side in this league, but errors on and off the pitch made this easier for them.
Poor handling from Dieng (but this happens to all keepers every now and then). A poor miss from Austin, and then a sloppy pass from Dickie for their 3rd. Why try and pass the ball like that when your teammate has an opponent so close to him?
Strange decisions from Warburton not to start with Field and Lumley (given Dieng wasn't really ready and Lumley has performed well as cover).
It's easy with hindsight, but I think starting with Adomah at RWB is better (and yes, I and others have said this before), because it is quite clear that Kakay is NOT suited to the role.
I get why he wants to play Thomas if he has no intention of signing Field, but if he does want to sign the latter, then he should start with him in the side, especially against teams like Norwich!
I agree with the comments about penalties and it's exactly what I would sometimes do as a keeper (not always as penalty takers may study keepers too). I don't know why Dykes chose to take it like that as he has not taken all previous pens like that). If going down the middle players should always go for power with a bit of height (about the middle or head high). They have time and are not challenged so should really be able to do that.
Let's hope for better performances all around for the last 2 games.
