I think the strikers have lost faith with Kane. They need to predict where wingers are gonna place the ball.

Kane put over three or four good crosses just dying for the near post run but neither austin or Dykes gambled on these.
Yes there was a couple where he had to turn on his left peg that weren't great, and a very tired balloon late on, but he was nowhere near as bad as some are making out.
But that's not the narrative for this board.

Yes, but we haven't got anybody better at the club and won't have until the transfer window opens again, he is being played out of his comfort zone and is doing the best he can, so what is the point of constantly slagging him?

MW was slow to react when we conceded so many in his first season.Now he needs to correct an obvious flaw that a very inconsistent Todd Kane is our main attacking outlet

He didn’t play well last night , in fact he was poor . I don’t think he is out of his comfort zone as he has the energy to get up and down .Warbs said the wingbacks are our out ball every time , I lost count of the poor deliveries or poor weight of pass he put in last night . I agree we have nobody better in that position at the club right now but let’s judge him on last nights performance and it wasn’t good.

He was one of a few the sub I would have like would have been Willock for Chair. Just off the pace and his decision making last night

Obviously some tired legs last night and I was surprised MW waited so long to start bringing subs in, I don't mind starting with a similar 11 most matches, it's great for continuity which is nice to have, I just think with 5 subs being allowed and having some obvious quality on the bench that subs should be made sooner but MW knows the state of the players much better than me! I am becoming more impressed with how much Kane runs, he gets in some good positions even if his crossing lets him down at times, I think Dykes needs to sit or be given no more than a half, he is hurting us with his total lack of production from the striker position!

If you look at the highlights Chaz done a lovely cross field pass to Kane but Chaz did not bother to run into the penalty area ......does that tell you anything ?

I think if you were to watch back replays, there was at least one, where the comms were saying the strikers should go to the near, that actually came off the defender, so it wasn't a neat cross at all.
But I found those two commentators completely inadequate and bearing in mind thats there job, it was woeful.
If we were to perform in our jobs that bad we'd be unemployed.

You wouldn't have like the commentator on the dodgy stream, I have no idea what language he was speaking, I understood enough to know he got the players wrong, he called Dykes on Austin's last chance, Dykes had been subbed off!
