New signing De Wijs not ready to play for QPR

QPR manager Mark Warburton has confirmed that recent signing Jordy de Wijs will not be available for Monday’s game at Watford.

The centre-back has been nursing a calf problem and has not featured since his arrival from Hull.

New signing Johansen – who joined the R’s on loan from Fulham earlier this week – could be in line to make his QPR debut at Watford.

A few days on from securing his signature, Warburton is still delighted to have signed the Norwegian international.

The manager said: “Stefan comes here as a proven player, the captain of Norway with 55 caps, a couple of promotion under his belt and he knows the division very well.

well we've had a full week off where Watford have played twice hopefully we're refreshed, and raring to go no excuses abut how tired the team is, Our performance v Derby a poor one sadly I cant see anything other than a defeat but we live in hope, really need to pick up some points quickly the new manager effect had done well for Rooney and Derby, and others other than Wycombe closing the gap

Johnansen should make a difference to our midfield but can't see him lasting 90 mins needs match fitness. Our issue is the fullbacks simply abysmal personally id play Ball at RB Kane and Kakay have no idea and Niko no better, Sarr should run riot on either side. But you never know what side of ours turns up same as Norwich Bees etc.

Point would be great but think we will get done over

Sadly, I agree although as always hoping for some good fortune to come our way.

I also think that Ball should play instead of Kane, but I guess he will be needed in CM tonight even if Johansen starts. Maybe Willock or Adomah will play the RWB role.

I think we need to find a solution in the wingback or fullback roles because none of the four; Kane, Kakay, Hamalainen or Wallace are anywhere near good enough from what I have seen.

Although our financial restrictions are lets be honest not great, I find it totally inept to have FOUR full backs that lack so many key aspects of defending, Wallace is past it Kakay ok going forward has pace but can't defend Niko couldn't mark his underpants then Todd Kane im amazed he's on a wage and not a Sunday morning player regardless of salary he's just diabolical. As for threads that Warbs has no say on signings I don't thinks true why did 3 come from Scotland? Kelly garbage Wallace garbage and Dykes tries hard works hard but lacks pretty much most things to score unless balls not moving from the penalty spot. I can live with Dykes as Heskey wasn't the greatest but provided for Owen stick a nippy CF around him and i think that would be his role.

If any of the board read these look at CM at Shrewsbury Harry Chapman young CM quality he's got the lot box to box scores goals

I think Dickie and Austin only two from this squad would get in that side as outfield maybe Dieng but brave man taking helguson out that side he was proper player

Will be interesting to see if Chabolah and Sarr plays or not tonight. Looking at the bookies odds it looks as if they will, Watford is lower compared to yesterdays price..
