Definitely. How bad has it got that people on here were cheering Blackburn on last night and now saying its good that wycombe wont have any fans in the ground. Its wycombe ffs. Not real Madrid. This is how low our expectations have become. Hoping we scrape a win away to this lot. Its embarrassing.

It is embarrassing that we are hoping to avoid defeat snd dropping into the bottom 3, but it is where we are at.

I think we will do well to come away with a point if the Manager goes for a wash rinse and repeat formation and tactics.

I don't really know anything about Wycombe so it's hard to know what to think in terms of predicting the outcome. I suspect Wycombe will shade the match by dint of being more up for it than us and wanting to give the braggarts from The Smoke a bloody nose. A terrible turd of a game decided by a deflected effort that trickles over the line.

Need a win desperately, but confidence must be shot in the camp the form we are in right now.

Can see Warbs setting up with his stubborn 4-2-3-1, with Cameron named starter again, and this time there’ll be no saving him.

Another defeat on the cards, Rotherham, Trees and Wayne Rooneys Derby going above us and Warbs still coming out with same excuses.

I just don't buy into this "we've played well" occasionally idea. I think we've mostly been dreadfully lightweight and ineffectual since capitulating at Plymouth at start of season. The pitch is big, 75,000 square feet - our performance in the key areas, the areas that matter, the areas that create goals, the areas that prevent goals has been consistently shocking. It's utterly useless if Carroll strokes a nice 25yd pass with the outside of foot sideways to a team mate - it achieves nothing. Stringing 10 of those passes together with nothing on the end of it is scandalous but, it somehow makes certain fans think we're doing "okay"???
The only way we'll win today is by coming out on top of an attritional "armwrestle" but I don't think we have the character to do that.
