They are really poor. We can easily beat them. I dunno what our situation is with injuries but if we have 75% of our main players available we will win comfortably.

I'm keen to see Dickie in a centre holding midfield role with Bonne AND Dykes up front together- that'd be good I think.

MARK Warburton says that he, his staff and players will be determined to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat at Huddersfield Town when they head to Millwall on Tuesday night.

In recent games, the R’s have performed well without picking up the points they have deserved but it was a different story against the Terriers at the weekend.

Warburton felt that his side were well beaten at the John Smith’s Stadium and he says that he and his players were hurting after the match.

“The players are professional athletes and competitors,” he told www.qpr.co.uk. “And to be in the environment they are in, they will have been competitors from when they were young kids, right the way through from school.

“Losing hurts them. They don’t want to lose a game of table tennis, let alone lose on a Saturday, so it hurts everyone concerned in professional sport.

“It’s about a reaction now because, as a player or staff member, you have a responsibility to yourself and your fans every time you go and play.

Tuesday’s game at Millwall will be Rangers’ sixth in two and a half weeks. The manager felt that his team were ‘heavy legged’ at the weekend but partly because they didn’t take care of the football in the way that they usually do.

He said: “There is never a lack of effort. Our distances covered on Saturday were the highest of the season. Our number of high-speed runs was the highest of the season and the percentage of high-speed runs to distance covered was the highest of the season too.

“But we were running as a reaction to us being loose, giving the ball away, losing a duel. It was reaction running rather than proactive running, so we have to recognise that.”

Prior to Saturday, Rangers had been playing some excellent football. Warburton wants to see a return to that when they head to The Den on Saturday and, of course, also see them pick up some points for their efforts.

He said: “Saturday aside – there’s no excuse for Saturday and I’m not going to hide from that – but prior to that we have been very unfortunate not to get rewards when we have played exceptionally well.

“We created lots of chances against two very good teams [Brentford and Bristol City] and in truth could have taken six points quite comfortably. The level of performance is key. If you are delivering good performances, creating chances, then you should move up the league table.

“We have to be more ruthless in both boxes; we have to take those chances and neither can we give away soft goals. We attack and defend as a team, so we have to recognise that team mentality and do something about it.”

Tuesday’s opponents Millwall are winless in eight Championship matches but Warburton expects the Lions to provide his team with a very tough challenge.

He said: “They’re always dangerous. Millwall at The Den is tough for anyone - any manager or player will tell you that. You go there and they have good physicality and quality, they have experience and from set pieces they are always very dangerous. They’re a good Championship team who are very well managed by Gary Rowett.

“We know what we’ll face and it’s another very tough game. Saturday aside, we have been playing well, so Gary and his team will know what we can do, too.”

If we lose tonight, that’s 4 straight defeats and we slip closer to the relegation fight. How much longer do we keep faith and persist with Warbs? He must change to a plan B, not just tinker with plan A. Surely he must realise his job is not safe with this run of form and failing tactics?

TF ballsed it right up imo I’m no big fan of les I think board think we can stomach flannel more if it comes from him . As for Warbs I’d like a plan b not repeat plan a but in his defence this squads pony the back 4 are inexperienced, midfield Dickie I think has more experience than Carroll and 4 years younger it needs investment either decent loans or quality or we will be near trap door. Our experience is Cameron past it and Wallace who earned a living playing 4 tough games a year in Scotland

How about a start for Bettache alongside Ball in central midfield. With a start for Kelman alongside either Dykes or Bonne if the former needs a rest.

Get the ball moving forward a bit quicker with crosses into the box for the centre forward.

Less passing the ball around near our penalty area and we might not concede possession in dangerous position.

I know Kane is not a good rightback, but neither is Kakay - better as a CB imo.
