QPR v Rotherham to kick off at 7pm

QPR’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Rotherham United will now kick-off at the earlier time of 7pm.

QPR host the Millers at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Tuesday 24th November.

The fixture was originally scheduled to take place at 7.45pm.

I see this as must win, anything else is unacceptable. Utterly pointless putting in a decent shift against a team of Watford's calibre if we don't build on it tonight and comfortably take 3pts. Last season, the 3 relegated teams all beat us - that's pretty shambolic and can't be allowed to reoccur this season. It's game 13 and we're at a point where the table is shaping up - we have an opportunity tonight to get into a fairly comfy midtable position, a decent base to go on from OR we can find ourselves stuck far nearer the bottom than the top with a lot of the teams expected to struggle either above us or sniffing our heels. Yep, it's a game that I strongly suspect will pretty much define what will happen to us over next 13 games.

A very intelligent post and I completely agree with you,in many ways our most important game of the season so far.
no excuses if we fail to win this one,Rotherham ,along with Wycombe are favourites for relegation.

Rotherham United manager Paul Warne says his side will be looking to take the game to their opponents when they travel to Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium to face Queens Park Rangers tonight.

The manager has called on his charges to impose themselves on the opposition, following his side’s narrow defeat to Swansea City on Saturday.

Despite putting in a spirited second half display, the Millers were edged out courtesy of Matt Grimes’ first half strike and Warne is looking for his team to take their second half showing and turn it into a 90 minute display against the R’s.

“I was happy with our second half display but I think it’s always easier when you’re chasing a game at the end. You need that character for the whole game, not just the bit part," Warne explained.

“I can handle losing football matches that is fine, there’s just a level of performance that I expect, I just don’t think we had it in the first half.

“We need to raise our standards a little bit from the Swansea game. We’re a pretty good away from home team I think. We are going to try and take the game to them and we need to be a little braver on the ball.

“QPR have had a bit of an indifferent start, but a start that has seen them accumulate a lot of points so far. I like the way they play and I like their manager Mark Warburton, he’s someone I’ve liked since his Brentford days, so I’ve got a lot of respect for the way they play.

“If we’re going to win football games we need to impose ourselves on the opposition and that is the intention we will have travelling down.”
