Announced as the new boss last Friday evening, Valérien Ismaël had a watching brief at The Den on Saturday, having flown in from Germany that morning, but he'll be in the Oakwell home dugout on Tuesday night to take charge of his side for the first time.

He will have had a closer look at the players at his disposal over the last couple of days, and will be hoping that the injuries picked up by Jordan Williams and Cauley Woodrow in the warm-up at Millwall don't see them out of the picture for too long.

I'm peeved about not being able to attend. I like Oakwell, pie shop on the corner is bloody fantastic and players/staff have to troop off in corner in front of away fans.... marvellous opportunity to look them in the eye and give them a frank appraisal of their performance.
Fingers crossed we'll strangle the game to death and grab a 0-0.

SUPPORTERS all over the world will be able to watch QPR’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Barnsley live on QPR+!

Rangers head to Yorkshire on Tuesday night (7pm kick-off GMT) and the live stream is available worldwide.

2020/21 season ticket holders who have opted to continue receiving QPR+ access will be able to watch the midweek away match as normal.

All non-season ticket holders – and fans who recently requested a refund on their 2020/21 season tickets – will need to purchase a match pass in order to watch the game.

Match passes are priced at £10 for UK and Ireland-based fans and £7 for overseas fans, with all pricing set by the EFL.

Another dull game in wet & windy conditions in South Yorkshire I think. A new manager for opponents usually results in a loss for us and I predict a 1 or 2 nil defeat.
