Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

New season, same rubbish. Can’t pass, cant tackle, can’t read the game and can’t defend. Glad I haven’t renewed my season ticket. £10 wasted. Warburton still living off his time at Brentford. He’s done nothing since. Get a proper football man in.

Warbs has done a fantastic job by getting us to 13th last season having only spent £50k. I guess we'll have more of these evenings as the season progresses. We have very little money and debts that need to be repaid. If you think we're badly run look at some of the teams in League 1/2.
There will be more signings coming in and if you think he's not doing a good job then tell me who should replace him? A young inexperienced manager or someone on the merry go round. Only person I can think of is Ainsworth, but I dont think we're at that stage yet. Let's see how things are at Xmas.

And this .....
Fulham U23s thump QPR
Fulham’s under-23s continued their fine pre-season form with a 4-0 thrashing of Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.

Surely we all know where we are as a club. We're heading in the right direction and I'm not worried about relegation. There will be three worse teams than us.

Then when you think of the goals that Wells and Hugil scored you realise it’s a big ask . We need Dykes to hit the ground running, Chair to be more consistent, Bos to stay and a few more new faces .

I agree we are asking for Dieng but haven’t seen him play for QPR. This is exactly why he must get selected, then we will see for ourselves whether a new keeper must be signed.
Again , he pointed out that we must take our chances. We fans know that because we keep asking for strikers to be signed.
I don’t know who missed the chances today but would one of them be by Oteh or Amos?

If we can address some of the weakness in defence, scoring goals though vital won't be so desperate. We need a balance of the two. So recruitment is crucial this window. I'm sure this is not lost on management.
We find ourselves in a transitional stage, we've brought on talent, and the business model dictates they be sold. Whilst we were nurturing that talent , we needed loans to bring us through, and that is the stage we must return to, but now suitably wealthier.
Its a long term iterative process. We must expect these "peaks" and troughs, but hopefully we will grow stronger with each cycle -that's the plan anyway.
Patience is a virtue.
We are not alone in the ramifications of Covid on our business model. There will be sides affected more than us. We only need a cushion of three, and in this cycle of rebirth periodically, we must accept our position in the table occasionally to falter.
