Originally posted by gator View PostWhat an amazing match for us, I almost didn't bother with the stream as my Mac always gets bogged down with pop ups, the stream was brilliant and as much as I like Andy and Nick on QPR+ the audio with no commentary was refreshing, were there more field mics as you could hear every bounce of the ball, the players shouting and MW barking out instructions? I can't wait for the draw for the next round, this is something us long time QPR fans haven't been used to!

One thing I noticed today because of the lack of commentary was how vocal Kelly was in goal. One of the early Swansea corners he shouted and claimed very commandingly - something Ihaven't seen for some time. I thought he did well and looked like he wanted to take his chance to impress.

MARK Warburton described his team’s display as “a pleasing performance” after witnessing QPR’s stunning 5-1 win over Swansea City in the third round of the FA Cup.
Goals from Jordan Hugill (2), Bright Osayi-Samuel, Lee Wallace and Josh Scowen ensured a safe passage into Monday night’s fourth round draw, and Warburton said: “I am really pleased to be through to the next round of the cup.
“It is always a tough footballing test against Swansea, they have a real philosophy and do it really well, so it was a pleasing performance from start to finish.
“We had a great intensity throughout the game. We knew we had to have that because they have some very good technical ball players and if we didn’t get out to them and win our duals, then they can hurt you.”
Hugill ended a nine-game goal drought with a brace, and Warburton added: “Like Nahki, Jordan was scoring goals for fun at the start of the season, they had a bit of a rough patch, but that’s football and the good thing is they have worked through it, they have worked hard in training and have got their rewards in the last few games.”
At the other end of the pitch, Conor Masterson put in a solid display on his professional debut.
The centreback joined from Liverpool in the summer and looked assured alongside Geoff Cameron at the heart of the R’s defence.
“I’m delighted for Conor to make his debut,” Warburton added. “He is well liked in the squad and the players were delighted for him too.
“You want to see the players hungry and look forward to representing the club.
“I felt he dealt well with today, he did the basics well, used the ball wisely, spoke throughout the game and never looked stressed, so I am really pleased for him.”
Warburton was also happy with the performance of Lee Wallace, who netted a stunning strike with his right foot.
“I was surprised to see Lee come up with a wonderful strike especially with his supposedly weaker foot!” said the R’s chief.
“To see him score was excellent but with his right foot it’s like Hayley’s Comet so he needs to enjoy the moment!
“He has had to wait because of the form of Ryan Manning, I know Lee exceptionally well and I hope the fans can now see the quality that he brings.”

"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane
