Birmingham City will be without on-loan Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter after he dislocated his shoulder in the win at Reading, but it is thought he will miss weeks rather than months.
With Mark Roberts also out, Wes Harding or Geraldo Bajrami could start.
QPR manager Mark Warburton may opt for an unchanged side after beating Preston to register their first win for almost two months.
Defender Yoann Barbet could come into the squad after returning to training.
Match facts
Birmingham City are looking to win consecutive league matches against QPR for the first time since October 2008 (a run of three).
QPR are unbeaten in three away league visits to Birmingham (W2 D1) since losing 2-1 in October 2015.
Birmingham have kept just one clean sheet in their past 13 league games, a 1-0 win against Blackburn in October.
QPR's win over Preston at the weekend ended a run of seven Championship games without a victory (D3 L4) as the R's finally recorded their first league clean sheet of the campaign.
A league-high 45% of Birmingham's Championship goals this season have been headers (10/22), with that tally just one fewer than they managed in the whole of 2018-19.
QPR's Ilias Chair has had more shots on target without scoring than any other Championship player this season (11).
Gutted I can’t make this game, £10 an adult ticket!
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

It seems to be a bit of a recurring theme around Loftus Road right now.
But until I see the kind of results and performances that make me think that change is on the way, I’m going to keep banging the drum for it. Having somewhat turned the tide in regards to results in recent weeks, Queens Park Rangers face a difficult trip to Birmingham tonight to face a Birmingham City side that have only lost twice at home this season.
And Rangers boss Mark Warburton is hoping that his side will be able to carry on that fine run of form, but admits that performances might not always be the most pretty, but it’s sometimes necessary in order to get the results. Speaking to the club website ahead of the game tonight, he said:
“There’s certainly been a desire amongst the players, as there has been all season to win the games of football, it’s how you win the games. Sometimes you have to sacrifice some of the playing, but for us it’ll be about getting the balance. If they want us to play, we’ll play. If they want us to go direct, we’ll go direct. It’s important to mix it up with quality.”
Now whilst I have been incredibly critical of Warburton in the past, and still remain sceptical somewhat, I have to admit that he is saying the right things here.
I will gladly sacrifice so-called ‘entertaining football’ in order to get results, at the end of the day the three points is all that matters, but as I have been saying when it comes to ‘tests’ for Warburton and the rest of the team, I’m going to see these results before I can change my mind that Warburton is the right man for the job.
And going into something of a ‘fortress’ that is St Andrew’s this season and picking up points in a difficult environment would be a perfect example of being able to grind out those results that can push us up the table.
I’d much rather a dull 1-0 win that an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Not having Barbet has been a huge miss for us in terms of our style of play. Like him or not, his ability on the ball is clear to see when playing out from the back.
I'm hoping that Warbs has learnt his lesson with regards to 3-5-2-. Playing Wallace and Cameron at CB is a recipe for disaster, its quite clear that Cameron is best when sitting in front of the back 4. Unfair to judge Wallace on his previous performances imo, he's not a CB he's a LB, and right now that's Mannings shirt to lose.
Cameron in front of the back 4 is a must. I'm not sure about the rest, Wells can get isolated on his on.
Cameron is a donkey. 1 good game in 10. Problem is we're desperate for a defensive midfielder, even more so the fact he gets into our starting 11. No where near mobile enough
