I know a lot of you don’t like lumley and see everything as his fault but without him today they could have had 6

sometimes you have to accept that the best team won

Sorry although Lumley pulled off some good saves but yet again he F ucked up with the first goal, which cost us again no good pulling of great saves and let in a poor one which cost us.

Poor performance but the truth is we were well in that game until the first goal . I stick to my opinion that a senior keeper should have come in during the summer.

Very poor game considering we were playing at home. We did not have a shot at goal, while Lumley saved us from further embarrassment. I think that WBA knew our strengths and did not give us a chance to get on the ball, apart from giving the ball away on numerous occasions. Leistner was our best player by far, while Manning and Chair, and to a certain extent Lumley, not far behind. We need to strengthen the defence in January.

Kane knew he didn’t have the beating of Ferguson quite early on and seem to effect him for the rest of the game.

I think Lumley had a very good game today, and I’ve not been one of his supporters of late. Neither goal was his fault, and he saved 2-3 others.

The takeaway from today; we never got into our game, and the coaches seemingly did little tactically to adjust to that.

Lets hope this inspires us to come back strong midweek.

Not sure lumley could do munch for the first - the left back ran from the half way with a single player anywhere near him

Joe was at fault for 1st goal IMO, however, our wall was at fault for their 2nd and Joe did make amends with a couple of good blocks.
Scoreline could of been far worse, bad day at the office, sheep worriers on Wednesday should be interesting.

To be fair to lumley the whole team basically ####e
d off and let him run at goal. He had half the pitch to him self. So TEAM #### up for me

Lumley may take 'part' of the responsibility for their first goal, however, four or five defenders were there watching helplessly and inviting the Albion player to take a shot at goal!

This isn't a perfect squad due to our budget. Lumley is letting in soft goals, so put Kelly in for a bit. If not why was he brought into the club. Warbs has put faith in Lumley as our nos 1 but a switch it needed now.

Overall, we were beaten by a better team today. Not a great team, but better than us.

A match to write off. It was one of them days where we were not in sync. For me BFG and Lums the stand out performers . That first goal was a swerver which caught Lums and everyone out and the wall were hoodwinked into jumping rather then stand their ground.

For those making excuses for Lumley , please look at it again , it’s a side foot shot from 30 yards and he should have saved it regardless of how well he played after that.
