I hope we don't set up to avoid relegation. If we don't go with the intention of winning this I will be mightily ####ed off
Have to agree Sheep, it's almost like we are so scared of shipping another 7, that a 2 or 3 - 0 loss is classed as a victory and a draw is like winning the league

As dire as it sounds I think we need to set up with an organized 4-4-2 or 4--4-1-1 and keep things very tight at the back and hopefully take advantage of their defensive errors if possible, a draw and that is one team that probably won't catch us, we will be one step closer to safety which is an accomplishment at this point! I loved the way we were playing before the New Year but teams have figured us out and after not really coming close to scoring against a poor Stoke side with 10 men for 80 minutes it is quite apparent we aren't capable of scoring many goals anymore without shipping a load of them!
Think its a confidence issue. The mid fielders and forwards have not got faith in our defence at the mo hence if they lose the ball up top they worry about getting back to help out but when the two experienced players come back it will be a different mentality going forward knowing they are behind them.
It will be like it was before Xmas when Cams & Rangel are back.
Cameron, Rangel, Smith: The latest QPR injury news and potential return dates ahead of Rotherham
Steve McClaren has provided the latest injury news on some key QPR players ahead of the game with Rotherham
Queens Park Rangers could welcome Geoff Cameron back from injury this week for the visit of Rotherham United, manager Steve McClaren has confirmed.
The American, who is on loan at QPR from Stoke City, has been out of action since December after sustaining ankle ligament injury, but McClaren said after the goalless draw with Cameron's parent club that the defender could return against the Millers, having returned to training ahead of the game against the Potters.
"He’s got a chance of being involved [against Rotherham]," McClaren said in his post-match press conference on Saturday.
Fellow defender Angel Rangel may need a bit longer in his recovery though, with the former Swansea City man also being out since December with a thigh injury picked up against Leeds United.
But McClaren says it is good to have both players involved again in training, with their experience and influence among their team-mates.
"[Angel] Rangel probably after the break," said McClaren, with QPR having no game for two weeks after their clash with Hull City this weekend.
"But it’s good to get them both back on the training field and be an influence on the field instead of hearing them talk on the training ground all the time."
Meanwhile, McClaren is hopeful that the injury to striker Matt Smith is not too serious, with the 29-year-old missing the 0-0 draw with Stoke City after picking up a knock in training last week.
"We’d have loved Matt Smith [against Stoke]," said McClaren.
"I’ve been saying that all season – he doesn’t often get the chance to start, but he’s so effective for us. When he went down injured and we thought it was going to be a long-term one, I was so disappointed.
"Fortunately he should be back in a few weeks, but [against Stoke] would have been an ideal opportunity – we were putting crosses into their box, and you could see their centre halves were very dominant with the goalkeeper. Luckily we’ll get him back soon."
