Wells and Hemed are a big disappointment. I think in our situation, with money to spent so so scarce, our only option is Matt Smith. I know he was unavailable today, however, considering goals per minutes played, he is still our best scorer. Play to his strengths and he will deliver.
I find it very worrying that we cannot create proper chances at home against the team sitting 16th and playing with 10 men for 80 mins.
We scored more last year with Washington, Mackie, Sylla and Smith as our main threaths. The three first weren't deemed good enough to keep by SM while the latter has hardly been good enough to earn more than a few starts. Earlier this season everyone agreed Wells, Hemed and Eze was a major step up on last years striker, so why are goals so hard to come by?

Imo, mainly because Rangel and Cameron are out with injuries. Wzolek has to play too deep and Wells is probably tired of running around on his own. With regards to Hemed, I don`t know. It`s just like he also is very much affected of how our midfield has lost it`s shape. Eze is also a player who is affected of it (probably).
