This is what happens when we employ an offense that's not dependent on a slower plodder in the middle (Smith); makes it much more difficult on the defense. Pawel and Freeman outstanding. Mackie and Washington pressing. Only less-than-tremendous part of our game are Perch and Bidwell; they're adequate, but imagine what this team could do with faster, more dynamic wing backs.

Totally agree. Was thrilled to hear LuaLua was back in the fold. Also interested to see what Baptiste may offer in the weeks ahead. And imagine what could happen when Hall is back to full fitness.

Half time assessment
QPR have carried out their game-plan flawlessly.
They’re doing an excellent job of keeping the defence tight, and using the midfield trio of Scowen, Luongo and Freeman to quickly turn defence into attack.
Mackie and Washington have both worked their socks off up front, giving Freeman and Luongo plenty of options to play the ball in behind an Owls defence which is struggling to cope with the direct running of the QPR attack.
The Hoops have also done very well at keeping hold of possession when they get it, and this is something they’ll need to continue in the second half.
