Anyway, I'm off for a beer and a steak dinner with the work lads.
I'm confident we'll be safe, but not because we won't lose our next 2. That result was disgusting and I wish we could fast forward to the end of the season and get this one over with already.
Peace.Top Scorers 2018/2019

I have supported IH appointment but 6 lost on the bounce twice
is not acceptable so regretfully feel that he is not the man for the job
and sadly we must look elsewhere but i would be surprised if this
were to happen given the present people in charge of the club.
I would love Ollie to succeed but i think the writing is on the wall
but as i said not sure our owners etc will act

Look, I'm confident they won't show the sort of form they haven't shown all season, if you disagree that's your call. Some of us don't actually want us to go down.
Blackburn are hard to score against and Villa may be on their holidays as might Brentford on the final day.
You and other
have been confident about Hollowhead's ability.but I haven't. Now I am not as confident as you that Blackburn or even Birmingham will fall short of 50 or 51 points.

Okay. So here's where we are after a second 6-game losing streak and likely barley surviving relegation. Love the spirit of Ollie, but results matter; jury out on him moving forward, but believe he deserves to start as manager next season after an off-season of finding "his" team. Smithies, Hall, Onouha, Luongo and Freeman are the rocks to build around; keep Mackie for morale if nothing else. Make a goal scorer our top priority (Austin would have won us at least six more games this season) and a stud middle back next on the wish list, followed by a potential standout LB or RB on defense. Be ready to deal everyone else, save for either Sylla or Smith (like having our version of Crouch in the middle). Finally Ollie has to apologize to the fans for this poor display, rattle his players that sub-par performances will earn an immediate benching or worse, and field a team that's ready to go all blood-and-guts, every game, win or lose.
