I wanted us to score last night just to shut up that biased pratt Steve Froggatt in the comms. He kept banging on about how we only had one shot on target all game, when it was exactly the same situation for them apart from their goal. Smithies had virtually nothing to do for the rest of the game. He then kept criticising Ollie for making so many changes to the team without realising some of them were enforced through injury and some were because he wanted to start some of the fringe players like Goss in a game that wasn't a must win.

Watched the entire 90 on Player and it was far better performance than vs Derby, 2nd half especially when we laid siege to their goal but just lacked the cutting edge. We vastly improved when Conor and Smith came on and would have got at least a draw if those two had started. Smith in particular made a huge difference to unsettling their defence.

Was busy and saw lots of the ball without actually doing anything with it. Drops his shoulder nicely

Reminded me a bit of Doughty might come up bit short but needs game time

Conceded possession cheaply a couple of times and got caught out ball watching at the back, which almost lead to a Villa 2nd goal. But on the positive side did as Wests describes and put a couple of decent crosses in too.
