What a dreadful game. We didn't have one shot at goal in the 2nd half. Defensively we look more organised, but the midfield is so one dimensional. It's either a 10 yard side pass or a long hoof to the channels which is pointless. We have no width in the side and our forwards get no service. I feel this is going to be another boring old year watching us. The club have all summer to address the wingers and striker issue. We have lost Holiett and Phillips and replaced them with no one.

I don't buy that pre season means nothing. It's all about momentum and we've been consistently poor all pre season. Do the people that are slating others for having a bit of a whinge suddenly expect us to flip the switch against Leeds? I think it's a little concerning personally

We just look so far off ready mate. Washingtons confidence must be rock bottom with the lack of service and lack of support. Agree with all of that... Burton looked more threatening going forwards, they scored from it.

We're live on SKY the very first game, not looking forward to that as we stand.

if you are going to play 1 up front (and I hate it) you need a bit more in the midfield than sideways, backwards Henry. Doughty and Massimo were not too clever either

Very poor. If this is the kind of stuff we will be performing, may God help us. Our goal was a lucky deflection; only one shot at goal; their goal was a total defensive mess. Burton looked by far the better side....and they are expected to fight against relegation!
