We actually played a very decent game tonight, but were snake bitten by bad luck and a total inability to look dangerous within the final third of the field. Hoilett is very flashy and an igniter but should be told to NEVER shoot at the goal until he figures out how to do it. Vargas, after a very exciting start at QPR, looks like he's lost his quick speed daring and thirst for the goal. We need more than one finisher-- Austin-- or we'll find ourselves finished at season's end. Would do nothing but practice final third stuff -- all week, all the time -- until we straighten this out. On the up side, we ARE playing more as a team.

I honestly dont know what can be done with these players, other than play all the sloggers and pray for a nil nil.
People seem to think todays team was attacking but its not when you just park players behind the ball, just because a player has a reputation for being attacking don't mean he is if tactics don't allow him to be. Phillips as an example may as well not have been on the pitch but tell him as soon as we get the ball bust a b ollock running into the space and exploit his raw speed did we do that no instead we p ussy foot about with slow 6 yard passes which go no where and end up in the first goal.
Be decisive, play forwards play to our strengths (Phillips and Hoillets strengths are not defending so why put them in the side to do that) go out with a plan away from home at the current time the plan is clearly everyone behind the ball and shut up shop and it is not working lets have a f ucking go at a team (we do at home) as had we gone for Everton would we have lost by anymore then 3 1 probably not might we have scored more then one possibly
