Really unlucky today, did not deserve to lose and on another day could have won, 2 mistakes by us cost 2 goals, first one Yang caught in possession simple cross and Nardi stands still like a lamp post.
Second Freys touch as normal was hopeless, punt upfield and a superb strike from their bloke.
Didnt see anything between the teams but United took their chance, ref and linesman both useless and totally inconsistent with bookings and fouls given.

MOTM for me was Varane who looked a class above the rest.

It is such fine margins in this division , hence why everyone can beat each other on any given day. The standard of teams is very poor in this league but that is down to the Premier league taking all the money and buying any decent Championship players . The standard of the strikers is the biggest difference , we don't have any decent strikers , where as Sheff utd have 2 or 3 better than all of ours. I like Frey and Lloyd but neither will score many goals or get you into the play offs , Celar looked good against Cardiff but crap in all the games before that and has a bad attitude. Kolli has promise but i doubt he can play in the lone striker role , until we get a decent striker at the club i doubt we can get near the top of the league.

we are crying out for a cm who can carry the ball similar to Edward’s out from the back and I’d be happy to see him come in and lose cook wages and dunnes to fund a purchase we don’t need much tbh to push for top 6 but do need a cf a lb a cm !

The Premier league have got what they wanted in a roundabout way , no relegation. The teams with the parachute money will keep going up and down with the odd exception .

I thought they kept us at arms length pretty much all game. We posed barely any direct threat on their goal and their keeper was never severely tested. Yep, in 2025 that IS a penalty but it's another Smythe ####-cross not beating the first man but it flukily hits a hand instead of nose, butt, knee or whatever and we get a lifeline.

Kudos to Frey - I was convinced someone in Upper Loft was getting a fat lip when he stepped forward to take the pen so I need to eat humble pie there...

Where was big last 10 minute push though... did we have a serious attempt on goal after 80mins?

To me we lacked nouse, guile, variation and ideas. We huffed and puffed but provided nothing in the business end of the field.

Lloyd brainlessly scything down their right-back in 85th minute with ball pinned in their right quadrant really wound me up. It kind of summed up the sheer dumbness of our approach to the game and was in stark contrast to their intelligent management of the game - it was like they beat us by dint of football intelligence and it pains me to say that cos I cant stand them or Wilder.

Talking of Wilder.. what was he wearing??? Some sort of loose fitting cotton two-set. Looked like the get-up of a Californian Lifestyle Yoga guru. I think hes having a midlife crisis or is dating a 26 yr old.
