Far and away the most complete performance of the season, cannot fault anyone as they all had good games, took our chances, scored some good goals and in the end Derby well beaten, great to see Chair off the mark obvious MOTM, but for me it was Saito, simply brilliant.
Derby team were shocking, worst team we have played at home, total shambles.

Yang's first touch and game awareness is real quality. With more game time he'll get better aswell.

Wasn't it great to totally dominate a team for most of the game.
Really enjoying watching this team most weeks, with exciting young players throughout the squad.
We're far from being the finished product, but the future of this team looks very promising indeed.

Be wonderful to keep this side together as they seem to fit both physically and mentally. The whole attitude of the team and fans has turned a corner. Even the Coventry game wasn’t a soul destroying disaster more of a tedious blip. I’m loving it

They were poor at their gaff too back in early October but still beat us cos we were awful back then. I do find it hard to put a finger on what was the catalyst for our change in fortune from December. The obvious difference is we seem to have more zip, pace and intensity now.

Playing out from the back at walking pace was suicidal but doing it a bit quicker and with Ronnie Edwards involved has made us look a lot more solid and competent playing out from the back (and through the thirds). Maybe its just getting that one element right that's brought about the improvement?

Even the very best clubs have a blip. Loss at Millwall was disappointing but we didn’t turn up on the day, loss at Coventry was a lack of concentration in the 95th minute and could’ve just as easily been at the other end. Let’s just ride the wave!

I can't see us keeping Ronnie he's going to command a decent fee and Saints will likely want him there next year. If we did would be a blinder as Cook won't last forever. Morrison looks very competent though. Our back line will need some work in the summer.

Saito needs to be signed, young and a complete menace.

At the end of the game it’s goals that count. I thought Derby had the best of it first half an hour or so. We scored against run of play. Derby let in goals which is why they’re down the bottom but I felt our play wasn’t as enjoyable as it has been but obviously effective!

Can't argue with the sentiment but c'mon, look at the reality of things....

Virtually the whole defence from this week is out of contract in June and can go to whatever team offers them the best package.

Saito and Edwards are loan players and their future is entirely in the hands of their parent club. I dunno much about Saito's situation but Saints bought Edwards from League One for £3.5 million and he's under contract until 2028. They WILL be relegated to Championship and will almost certainly sell Harwood- Bellis and/or Bendarek and play Ronnie. I can't see how they'd loan him out or sell him, it doesn't make sense. IF they did sell him I guess they'd want at least £5million. I also suspect there'd be 20 clubs ahead of us in the queue for his signature that would offer him a significantly better remuneration package than we could.

Basically, this time next year our starting XI will be unrecognisable from last night's.
