Seems increasingly likely that Marti must go. Sad to say that but it just isn't working. His methods seem flawed. His continuing lack understanding of what the Championship is all about is a major concern. If Marti is to go, make it quick. I still feel we have a reasonable squad (bar a few duds) but everything seems wrong. We have ample time/games to turn this around but act decisively. My opinion won't change even if we get something out of Tuesday's game.

He understood the Championship when he got us out of trouble last year, I believe whoever brought in some of these player's on data based performances not someone going to see them actually play, data from very weak leagues in Europe gives you a false perspective about a player.

Only 2 fans on here macca out of majority are talking about sacking the manager which is absolutely nonsense. We're 2 wins aways from mid table. He still is one of the better managers in this division and we're lucky to have him. If you want him out bus and Dave's then at least suggest a worthy replacement.

I wishi Marti could succeed but I see no evidence to suggest that possibility. We are just awful, over and over and over again and that against poor sides. Our first 11 is decent and definitely at worst mid table. I have to believe that Marti is asking them to play in a way that they are not able to or not comfortable with. His persistence with picking Paal casts further doubt as does his having no plan B, when plan A fails, as it always does.
As for a replacement, that's a hard one but have heard Moyes mentioned????

David Moyes won't drop to the championship. The way west ham are going I think that'll be begging him back but he will definitely get a premier league job of he wants to come back so don't mention something that some daft bloke mentioned in the terraces but to be fair at least you've come up with a name. Nothing to do with loyalty more to do with the fact we could find ourselves mid table if we win our next 2 league games. We aren't in a financial position to bring in someone better and I'm still waiting on names? I've played the game and tbh I would have loved to play under Marti, he is a footballing man that is very astute, some of the new signings have certainly let him down but as our budget suggests he can't turn water into wine. It's way to early to even consider changing the management and unlike a few on here I won't hit the panic button because I actually think Marti is a very capable manager at this level. I think with JCS coming back in and having a settled centre back pairing will make a huge difference.

Fair comment. Frankly l agree the problem is on the pitch but the manager usually takes the bullet

I don't want Marti gone, but if he does then I can see Beale continuing the work done so far and would give the players a lift as they all liked his training etc.
