Bloody freezing day, fairly typical Championship game with 2 average teams going hammer and tongs at each other, fairly drab first 45 with neither team creating much, Brum player looked offside for their goal and Kelly gifted it too him by coming out and failing to win the ball, Hugill disallowed goal was very close after a superb Rangers move.
Second half much better,attacked with speed and purpose with BOS ripping their full back a new one, 2 quick goals with the second coming on the end of a fine move, we looked to have nullified Brum and looked fairly comfortable, then our nemesis, free kicks and corners, we are shocking at defending these and concede the same type of goal time and time again, lapse of concentration again costing points, we had chances to win especially Eze who should have done better with a lob.

Barbet and Masterson looks a decent pairing and MOTM for me was BOS.had the beating of the full back all game and gave him a torrid time.
Very lenient ref who allowed some poor tackles go without a booking .

Overall a better second 45, and feel we could have just nicked it, however not the worst result against a team in form.

Romford, I think this is the first time I disagree with you! I thought BOS looked tired today and was bullied by the Birmingham denfece (No 3 in particular) They seemed to keep two on him and where kicking lumps out of him! He drifted in a lot more than usual and only showed a few flashes of his usual self. He looked very tired by the end of the Derby game as well.

First half Birmingham held their shape well and moved as unit making it difficult for us to pass. Once we got going we looked miles better and got two very good goals where as Birmingham's goals came from our errors.

The ref was shocking.

Don't rate Birmingham but thought their style of play wa effective. A good point for them and a slightly disappointing result for us, but won't complain about it.

Pugh played well today. Not spectacular, but solid.. Just a pity that we didn`t buy him earlier in his career.

MOTM hands down was Dom Ball. Was the only player in our team who wanted to get on the ball and play, it was made hard by the lack of forward movement we had at times. I can see real attributes of a leader/captain in Ball and wouldn't be surprised seeing him as captain in a seasons or 2 time. Wouldn't say we played our best but a point against an in form team I'd take.

agree about dom ball always wanted the ball , got his tackles in and got away with those little half turns he does ... good attitude to u can see him clapping and geeing up his team mates
