Brilliant win against the Champions of Europe, who looked anything but that. Niggly affair with ref constantly letting both teams away with persistent fouls. Everyone gave their all but for some it was a bit hit and miss.
Still think playing out from the back is suicidal, time after time we lost possesion with Kane and Cameroon the worst offenders, Wallace and Amos also gave the ball away cheaply.
However saying that whist Leeds had the lion share of the ball they created very few clearcut chances.

MOTM for me was Masterson, made 1 poor judgement when he let the ball bounce, however he reads the game superbly and looks composed on the ball, would not loan him out, play him and let him mature in our first team.
BOS and Eze were at times unplayable,although Eze did hang Out Wallace out to dry by not tracking back.

Overall a fine 3 points in a fairly muted atmosphere of sober supporters.

Think luck was on our side today for the goal, other than that we kept a clean sheet and saved a pen, might not have been strongest pen but keeper has to go the right way and needed to be at full stretch. We'll done R's

Wow, I am very happy with today's result!

Masterson was very good today and thought Cameron's performance picked up during the second half. Really pleased we managed to close out the game.

I think I celebrated the pen save more than the goal!

The pressure was on Leeds today and they didn't step up.

Cameron played some awful misplaced passes and offended in that sense as much as Kane. Unreal how good he was last season in CDM vs how bad he's been this season in that position.

Other than that, we looked great on the counter and dangerous every time going forward. BOS is something else with the ball at his feet, Chair is super bright on the ball and off it and deserves as many plaudits as Eze and BOS are getting. Wells did his thing, got a goal and had an up and down game otherwise.

Red card challenge was disgusting and thankfully Cameron is ok coming out of that but just by his reaction you could see how reckless it was.

The reason why Cameron is struggling now is that our team gets so much easier stretched this season.

I think Connor will learn more with us and doesn't look out of place in the championship.

We need a mobile striker to suit our play.
They are normally a bit smaller, so as much as they nearly give us heart attacks playing out, it's pointless thumping it up the pitch only to lose possession.

Masterson looks like the real deal. Be madness to farm him out given how rickety we've been at back all season and Hall's tendency to get injured.

Disagree with the OP, thought we played it long a lot more than normal and got the balance pretty much right. Would be happy with that being the settled 11 for the rest of the season. And seems like a nice guy, but don't want tower Lumley again.

Yep. Be happy with that as the de facto first XI. Today we looked organised and did a professional job mugging Leeds. Too often we look naive and soft but today we did a fantastic job of strangling the life out of the game.... Time-wasting, tactical fouling and breaking up their rhythm but all the while we had Eze and BOS coiled ready to pounce. A fantastic team effort all round. Oh, our bench looked far stronger than theirs too - reckon we have a matchday squad that could chalk up several wins in coming months and build up a bit of momentum.
