At last, took a large majority of our chances and slaughtered Cardiff, first 75 minutes Cardiff were torn apart mainly by BOS and Eze, cannot fault anyone in that period as everyone was playing well.
Substitutions spoiled the flow of the team, however at 6-0 they were understandable, although disappointing for the crowd, BFG getting injured left us with 10 men for about 10 minutes.
Very annoying that we conceded that goal with literally the last kick. and sorry to say Lumleys concentration or lack of it was to blame, routine shot pushed into the net. Today it did not matter, however again not good enough.

What was different today was obviously the finishing, and Wallace looked solid at left back, the 4 man defence just concentrated at defending allowing the flair players to launch wave after wave of attacks.
MOTM could be any of 4 or 5, so let’s do a double for Wells and BOS.
Poor crowd of 12300 odd, however delighted the home support was rewarded with a blistering performance.

amos and Ball nailed it in the centre
so I’m just going to say a brilliant team effort full of running and closing down passing and skill

Last minute goal was unfortunate as Lumley maybe should have done better but he also had a fantastic assist to his name today. Can't complain with 6 goals, I watched on red button as new years day is simply impossible for me to attend and judging by attendance others must have same issue.

The subs just had to be made in my opinion the boys who were taken off had run themselves into the ground and we need to keep them fresh they played absolutely brilliant. Yes it changed the whole dynamics of the game and when big Tone got injured we sat back for the last 10 mins and you could actually see them scoring. Nice summary Romford....pretty much how I saw the game. Fabulous to take our chances at last and I am really happy for Nakhi Wells. Hopefully the hat-trick does his confidence the world of good and he kicks on for us. Wonderful stuffing the sheep shaggers like that. Great day!

I couldn't watch the match today but you mention 7 players but not the guy who scored 3 goals...was he a bit lucky or just an oversight?

What made a difference today?

Our pace was faster.

Our play wasn't stuck in back passing in our zone.

We fed the ball to BOS and Eze, and saw everything open up.

We rested Manning (who hasn't been right in at least a month).

We didn't need Lumley to win (as mentioned above, their sole goal at the end on a stoppable shot was just another reminder that Joe is not the answer moving forward.)

MW described our style today, as he has in the past, as "clinical". With all due respect, MW, the last four games before today were lifeless losing snorefests compared to what we saw on the pitch this afternoon. Please review the game film, and promise you will strive to repeat that style of play moving forward. Happy New Years all.

Lumley made a great pass but we still need to replace him with better.

BOS looked knackered when he came off, and fair play he ripped them to bits, far too much mobility for a big Cardiff side. pace and movement killed them great for wells hat-rick needed a goal, Eze could've had a hat-rick too thought our front 4 BOS Wells Eze & Chair were brilliant, I suppose stand out performer BOS, but boy the others supported well

couldn't agree more. I take it everyone on this site has played football. when your 6 nil up, or more, you don't feel tired, there is a nice flowing rhythm, you are defending from the front, and with that comes more goals, we may even have clawed back that 9 goal deficite if they had satayed on, then rested them against Swansea on sunday.
