Far and away the most complete home performance of the season, clean sheet, Lumley having his best game ever for us, and the whole team turning in a fine performance. At flat back 4 with Cameron playing just in front of the 4 worked to perfection.
preston who are a tough, cynical and horrible team were restricted to one shot which produced a fine save from Lumley.
What changed today was no ####ing about at the back from goal kicks, ball was moved forward a lot quicker, and the players looked happier playing this system, the 4 at the back were excellent, BFG superb, and Cameron solid as a rock.
Upfront Hugil was a tower of strength although their defence constantly fouled him by hugging or pulling his shirt, Wells worked tirelessly and I was not sure why he was subbed.
Now to the the top 2 performers,Eze and Bos, both were brilliant, Eze at times unplayable.However my MOTM was BOS,, probably his best ever game for us, tore their defence to pieces, and helped the defence when required, absolutely a completely perfect game from him.
Great reception from the fans at the end, and as a harsh critic of Lumley I will add my congratulations to him for a commanding performance.
