get Kelly in..get a free transfer keeper in ? ...plenty of that ..as for Ingram ...look what happened to him..sure he has made mistakes ...but dropping him for other peoples mistakes ..not sure about that.

Wba's physicality did us today , all over the pitch.... Kane couldn't get past his man time and time again . CB's had the beating of hugill every time. We were to light in midfield , to many lazy passes that were intercepted... We never took care of the ball . Never moved fwd quickly enough..Lumley is a accident waiting to happen id have him in for kicking practise ... But we move of to the Welsh sheep botherers in midweek

Fair enough everyone sees things differently, however both managers in the after match game said the game was short of chances but goals turn games, that’s the point people are making, another very poor attempt to save a weak shot handed initiative to them.

I don’t think he is a scapegoat, it’s because every game he looks dodgy, fans have no confidence in him.

If that is not an absolute howler then we have a very very low expectation of our keeper.

Made a couple of good saves after this, but the game had already gone because of the blooper.
When the game was in the balance you just cant afford a mistake like this.

why can't you acknowledge the long list of mistakes that led to the player being in the position to make the shot in the first place?

no one is slating - Wells for letting him brush pass him , Kane for not closing him down - eze for being nowhere- cameron for running backwards waving his hands- but hey

Genuine question, do u rate Lumley and want him to be our number 1 for the next few seasons .

yes i rate lumley - do i think he will be here for the next few seasons ? no - i think the fans will get to him - if they haven't already - today he was very nervous in front of the loft - i think there is a decent keeper there and yes he is prone to a mistake here and there but that is the life of a goalkeeper - two absolute howlers in the premier league today.

his distribution is poor but today some of the passes back to him where dreadful. but he does make good saves...

it seems that people need a scapegoat and will arrive at games ready to pounce on any thing the player does wrong ...i didn't come away from that game thinking Lumley had cost us so was surprised to see the vitriol on here....there were several worse performances today ..the first goal ..where was kane ? where was Ball? or Eze? the fact that a lB can run from his own half to shoot. the second goal - Barbet...the wall ...still some tried to blame lumley.

we will lose games and WBA were better than us all over the park - but the readiness to jump on players when we lose our first game in a while seemed strange.

It was a side foot shot from 30 yards , commentator even saying goalkeeper error .

I think some fans have the blinkers on regarding Lumley . He’s made numerous mistakes this season that haven’t been highlighted as the team have been winning.He just isn’t improving enough to justify his position.

???? Bloke scores a side footer that goes in the middle of the goal from 30yards that and Champ keeper worth his salt would throw his cap on.

Not wishing to scapegoat the poor keeper but that was awful and cost us at least a point in what looked a nailed on 0-0 up to then. Goals change games and this is not the first time Lums has had a howler this season.
Too early to write him off completely, but if Kelly cant get a game after this then god knows how bad he must be.

Cost us the game as it had 0-0 written all over it, pathetic attempt to save a side footed shoot from 20 yards, gave WBA the boost they needed as they had created nothing, many poor performances today, however Lumley is poor every game, how people defend him is beyond me, Division 1 keeper at best,
