Unbelievable that we were hanging on in the end, first 35 minutes slaughtered Luton, scored 3, could have been 6.
Step forward Lumley, somehow even by his pathetically low standards he gifted there player an open goal, was not much better for their second although not alone in ####ups there.from absolutely cruising we went in at half time giving Luton hope, the inevitable second followed within 5 minutes of the restart.
suddenly we were on the back foot, panic set in and we fell apart, even then though Hugill had 3 excellent chances to score.

Picked up the 3 points, however it was outrageous we nearly messed it up, had enough of Lumley, puts the whole team under pressure.

MOTM and possibly his best ever game was Eze, absolutely brilliant to watch, Wells was decent and the rest were good for 35 minutes but most joined in with out total collapse, still we are strong going forward. Play with a keeper, tighten defence and we could have a decent season,

Good summary Romford, that's how it looked on the big screen, agree about Eze, what a superb match he had controlling the ball and making great passes, he could have had a hat trick had it not been for their keeper making a great save and his header hitting the bar! It's amazing how one bone headed play can change a game but Lumley's madness certainly did, Eze was one of few that kept their head!

Good report romford. Best way to teach Lumley a lesson is to drop him for that. You can understand if he shanked a clearance or dropped a ball but to be so casual bordering on arrogant trying to play pretty passes out from his own box isn't good enough. Eze was a class above judging by the video.

I wonder if Lumley was trying to do something ultra confident to give himself more confidence - does that make sense...? Backfired. He needs to keep the distribution nice and simple because he can make good stops.

With respect that is his job, makes calamitous mistakes and really only ever loses us points never seems to be MOTM, personally cannot stand the bloke, arrogant and useless.

Agree if we finished our chances it would have been 5 or 6 nil before Lumley screwed up and it wouldn't have mattered, that was a good save in the second half, their keeper made a fair few as well, that error changed the whole momentum of the game though!

Think we have to appreciate Barbet challenge in the 80ish minute mark 1on1 was a sure goal, the guy has had is fair share of criticism but today he’s saved us 2 points. I too have reservations about Kelly, but would still like to see him play a 1st team league game or two to help make up my mind.

I think Vorm is still available if he is without a club and he could make a good back up plan.

Smithies is now in Cardiff's starting line up so there is very little, if any chance of getting him back.

Who'd be a keeper , agree his mess up changed the game sure it's his job to save them but also hugills to hit the target..... Stick with Lumley as kelly untested at this level
