Just when I thought this team had promise they manage to turn in an abysmal performance, tonight was like watching last years team, against a very basic Pompey side we managed to look a lot worse, our defence bar Manning was very poor, Barbet worries me as I can’t see anything that he’s good at, BFG won the headers but stupidly gave away the penalty, he looked like he was stuck in mud when their forward raced away to create the second, Kane was well off and Manning tried hard, midfield was very weak,Smith out of his depth, ditto Owens who looked lost, BOS had a shocker and young Chair tried his best.
Pugh is so unfit it is a disgrace for a pro footballer, upfront Malaker looked pony, cannot even control a ball and missed a sitter at the end. Just seemed to be general apathy in the team with a couldn’t care less altitude.
Finally the keeper, I’m no fan off Lumley but this blokes distribution is erratic at best, ####s about too much then just hoofs it.
Bitterly disappointing night, MW needs to kick #### after this showing.
