Let's hear it for Scowen too - another superb defensive midfielder performance. Does all the basic things just right, that's why I think he often goes unnoticed (not mentioned in this thread for example). Such a good addition to our squad, along with Freeman, who although he struggled at times yesterday (Wolves targeted him as our playmaker) he still rose above the scything tackles to produce some great passes, and like everyone else, did not stop working - and he had that fantastic shot that had the crossbar twanging!

And on that note - Bidwell should get a mention too, a rock solid, battling performance from him with no little skill either - put some great crosses in.
