Zamora looked good which for me was a bit plus. Henry and Carrol were rubbish. Really think we need a decent centre mid not a forward.

I do sometimes wonder if I'm watching the same games.

I feel the same when people praise carrol to be honest. He's one of these players that if you don't say he's great, people say you know nothing about football.....look at his one touch, movement, energy......sorry but all i see is him getting knocked off the ball and not influencing the game atall.

Well he was involved in the first goal and involved in all the best passages of passing tonight, including one at the end of the first half which took the ball from our penalty area to getting a shot away which forced a decent save.

agree to some extent but he was also part of a midfield outplayed by bolton in the 1st half.....and huddersfield before that. He does some good things but he also loses the ball in key areas and for me is not visible enough for a central midfielder.

Always thought you were one of the worst posters on here. You've just confirmed it. Congratulations.

Yes they beat us fair and square but we were actually the better team that day and deserved at least a point. It was a smash and grab job from them really.

Agree. I was just being pedantic & if we're being honest the table doesn't lie. They are the best team in the division. But let's have this convo again in May.

Thought the 2 lengthy injuries affected us in the first half and for 20 minutes Bolton could have scored 2 or 3 times but then once they had hit the bar we got on top and completely dominated the game thereafter. Carroll played well 2nd half and along with Kranjcar made us tick. Philips was MOM and Greeno deserves credit for pulling off good saves when required, didn't work with BAE at Right Back but not due to him having a bad game, it just didn't work a left footed player on the right.

This is the great thing about the board, I wasn't able to watch the match and I'm getting completely different opinions from posters who I feel know what they're on about!

Some may disagree but with current circumstances, I would try Zamora with Austin.

                                Where are the others though?
That was my point - I have heard all season how better teams would have beaten us yet there is only one above us.
