anyway, mutch, fer, isla, philips were all quality. rio and hill were dependable. charlie huffed and puffed on his own up top and got a great goal. hoilett was class. but my man of the match has to be caulker. a complete farking monster of a defender. blocked farking everything, plays the ball calmly out of defense, wins every header.

The most heartening performance, if not the best, was from Fer. Was a real factor out there today, and believe he'll become our dominant midfielder. Also nice to see Mutch pick it up today; he was one of several who barely registered in the Spurs tilt.Last edited by Qprtanpa1; 30-08-2014, 10:55 PM.

Lots of good performances to choose from but Fer and Barton in particular stood out for me. I've given Fer the nod because he set up the goal.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.
