Great thread. 1st real experience of the "tete a tete with other fans, was palace at home in FA Cuo At LR in 82 The Clive allen goal set off the Palace fans and they went mental after the game and it was just self preservation after the game, even as a 14 year old lad you had to be on your toes that day.
In the paddocks over the years and around the Bush had some enjoyable lively times. Didn`t go many away games though, the last 10 -12 years done more away games. The Venables era was a very "busy" time for me!!.
£50 for anybody who can lend me a copy of the Book!!Last edited by Guest; 16-11-2009, 12:10 PM.

I thought the Rowdies book was just an internet wind up, would be good to read about the good old days. Remember Boro on the Goldhawk Road and leaving a lump of wood imbedded in one of the northerners before making a tactical retreat through the estate.
Luton FA cup game was entertaining as was the league cuip game at Forest when the coach left us there and we had to hire a National Express coach to get home.
Do remember coming unstuck at Southampton one year when we did have good numbers, think we tried to get in there end, with everyone pretending that they cam from Eastleigh!Don't Get Mad get Even!
