Are we partly to blame?

Nothing wrong with this as a post at all! Surely the whole point of a forum is to exchange views - it would be dull if everyone thought the same thing - and we wouldn't be true fans if we did. It would be great if fellow posters could lay off from the instant insults if they don't agree -that doesn't win the argument - just makes things worse. We all care -just have differing ways of coping with the stress!
With regard to the original post -if we don't have a part to play -and a share of the blame- then what's the point of supporting a team at all? If the Holt End think they are Villa's twelfth man we should at least think about how good our performance has been, and given where the team are, it suggests we fans could have done better. (looks for tin hat and wonders if you can still get an Andersen shelter!)

Blah, blah...fans aint got nothing to feel sorry for, whereas our pathetic little team has.... I don't blame the players per se, I blame the twonks who bought them, train them and pick them. Mackie is woeful but I don't blame him...

I don't know what the percentage of blame should go to the fans, if blame is even the right word. I don't even know if it
would be right for fans not to demonstrate their displeasure, probably not. however, it cant be helpful either to get on
        the teams back.
bottom line, its for the team to try hard, play well and set the tone for the fans.

I am sorry I missed numerous chances in front of goal and my defending has been second rate to none.

I should've come off my line to defend that first goal.

if we put a roof on LR that would have generated more noise ,and we would be challenging for Europe
