Taarabt's dribbling skills are fantastic no doubt but the whole point of dribbling is to find a better position to either pass or shoot.

Adel never knows when is the right time to pass or cross.

Hoilett couldnt keep himself still when defending, always giving away the ball to the opposite side.
Are you sure, Adel was on for 20 odd mins and looked like the most creative player on the pitch. When he came on Remy finally got some decent service to suit his game.

But nevertless, Adel should have released the ball when a better placed player was ready to fire a shot pretty close to goal. In situations like that he is still to greedy. That´s his real problem,IMO.
No doubt he passed the ball well, when we needed to find space.

Seriously the people on here moaning about Adel have to be joking? He literally didn't give possession away once that I can remember and made 3 or 4 key passes through to the forwards.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

He looked good indeed, but he should have passed instead of shooting when five Villa players was between him and the goal though.

No, in the dying seconds of the game he should have released the ball but instead he ran straight into their CB-backs.

Hoilett should have started against a very weak Villa defence.

What difference that would have made? We started brightly, but they had a goalkeeper.

We`ll never know, but he is good enough to start. When he came on it was a different game. He would have created even more chances for us if he had been a starter.

I thought that bringing Taarabt on when HR did was brilliant timing and a good choice having him on the bench - just unlucky that we didnt get the goal. Taarabt is a wicked impact sub IMO, totally fired up the play when he came on and switched it around - Just very very unlucky yesterday.

When Adel had a chance to shoot edge of the box clear shot on his right(stronger side) should've shot instead went back on to his left foot back into a crowd of players and shot was blocked that's part of Adels problem over complicates things, Remy should have don better with the header also
But we are Deffo a better team without Adel but will probably only be used as an impact substitute from now on, and must say after listening to Shearer on MOTD he right great talent but doesn't do it often enough 10-15 mins a game 1in 345games
