Agree with this although with the new Korean lad waiting in the wings, we may not need fabio back.

      I got two puzzlers -

      1. Why spend £20m on two top4 players in January?
      2. Why apparently relaxed regarding debts?

I think the answer to those two questions might tell quite a bit about the plans for next season if the mountain is climbed this season - and that would obviously impact on the playing staff.

        1. If we stay up £20m is money very well invested, not to mention they'll also have future sale values as well, if we go down we could recoup most of if not all of that anyway as they are top players.

        2. Maybe, just maybe what they've said ref finances along the way has been the truth. Add to the fact they have insane wealth among them (them being the mittals in one camp, and Tony's consortium in the other) so there probably isnt a need to panic.

We would need to replace some of the oldies with young up an coming players. I hate to say this but Derry, Hill, Mackie would need replacing. Tarbs could go, so could Park, Granero, Faurlin, Bothroyd, one of Green or Ceasr and probablr Remy. Hope to keep Samba. Money made for these players could be spent on young uns as I said before.

Remy wants out, and is using these last few games to impress. Even if we stay up he wants to join a bigger club. I am thinking 1 of the top 4. Gutting because I'd love to see him have a full season to show us what he can do. We will really need to invest in strikers if we stay up.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Maybe a little naive but read a recent article that made plenty of good points, hope they've got it wrong but doesn't sound like it mate

Got a link to it? Wouldn't mind a read of that.

The France international striker moved to Loftus Road from Marseille in an £8m deal in January but has a relegation clause in his £75,000-a-week contract and is looking to leave

                    By Greg Stobart

Loic Remy is considering a move away from QPR just two months after he joined the Premier League strugglers in an £8 million deal.

The 26-year-old striker arrived at Loftus Road in January and sources in France have told Goal.com that there is a release clause in his contract in the event that QPR are relegated.

                    WORTH THE HASSLE?

In any case, Remy could look to leave the Rs in the summer even if they survive the drop, with the Frenchman hoping to attract summer bids with his performances between now and the end of the season.

But he is unlikely to receive a contract offer worth more than the £75,000-a-week deal he picks up at QPR after agent Willie McKay brokered his transfer from Marseille in the winter window.

“He was in a bad moment with Marseille and it was the right time to leave, but Loic sees QPR as a step to a bigger club,” the source told Goal.com. “It is true he is on a good contract but other teams will take notice if he continues his form.”

Remy has scored three goals in five Premier League appearances, including goals in QPR’s last two matches to take the bottom-placed club to within four points of safety with nine games to play.

The France international moved to Rangers after failing to agree personal terms with Newcastle, finally joining up with Harry Redknapp after the QPR manager previously tried to sign him for Tottenham.

Remy had been one of the leading scorers in France in recent seasons but struggled for form and fitness before leaving Marseille, scoring just one Ligue 1 goal in 14 appearances.

I think we need quite a few in. Definitely another CB, another fullback, another striker, and another quality player in midfield. Which players are out of contract/leaving? Ben Haim, Fabio, Townsend and Campbell... anyone else?

At the moment we look like a team so I would cut my losses with Tarbs and move him on to the highest bidder
