Those Disgusting QPR Ticket Prices

Interesting to speculate on prices in the championship next year....
there's no way around this, relegation this year is a massive financial rodgering, like being bent over the kitchen table by Steve Bruce and then having to pay for it. Again and again.
If and when we find ourselves out with the washing it'll be really interesting to see how the club restructure.
I'd like to see a more real world, look to the future option but too many delusions of grandeur at the top of the club fot that to happen. If we don't learn the lesson and continue to struggle, I could see people with a vested interest eyeing up the lifeboats.

To be fair the lower category games are massively cheaper in the home end, I was just talking to a mate earlier about how I paid £25 for the Wigan and stoke games to sit in R block which really isn't that bad. I am unsure if the prices are similar in the away end though

football has to get its house in order....when budgets are set by the lge/fa it will take a while to settle down but still big teams will have loop holes.
it's not a level playing field. so DSQPR...a question, have you contacted the football supporters federation? do you support the "£20s plenty campaign"?
there are things going on and only with huge support will we get the bosses to look at prices.
we're in a triple dip recession and still prices only go up, whether it's fags, booze or groceries .'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. The game needs to be regulated. Football clubs are so poorly run, with even stable well run long term premiership teams like Villa and Everton in serious debt.
Spurs highes st is something like £1800 with lowest being £700. Ridiculous.
Our prices are also far to high with my gold being over £700.
Not as if the football we watch is of any real quality, I thought Suarez was brilliant but apart from that nothings really caught my eye this season, top level championship football wasn't far off for quality IMHO.
Amount of TV money and sponsorship should reflect in ticket prices if clubs were run well but poor contracts, paying over odds for average players, agents fees, pay offs etc ... all avoidable payments could be avoided if a club was run well.
ST at our club on quick calculation must at most bring in £7m, I'm sure that was roughly what it cost getting rid of MH and his sidekicks and getting AR on board. I'm sure we also paid approx 3x more to agents than our ST revenue.
A well run club could control ST prices but nearly all are so badly run that they are left with little option save to keep prices high to compensate poor expenditure elsewhere.

All I have to say is "Germany".
They have returned football to the fans and it is reaping the rewards.
Highest gates in Europe - by far.
Great atmosphere at games
Fans generally feel happy about how they are treated
Very competitive league (7 winners in 10 years and another team twice second that hasn't won)
Attracting better players (partly due to the crowds etc)
Overtaking the PL in terms of quality
And you can drink beer...good beer, in your seats!
You can get a season ticked at Bayern for about £100

I moved from my normal seat in MU to PU to sit with friends who came to their first game last week. The leg room was noticeably less and at 6'2" (not massively tall) I was cramping up and really uncomfortable. I am fit and healthy by the way! My dad won't come to QPR anymore because of the terrible leg room. To say prices should not reflect facilities is ridiculous. What fans want is a fair price. That is all.

^^legroom at LR has always been shocking!!
the reason the german/tickets are cheaper is cos they play in massive stadiums.. dortmund seat 80k, schalke 60k, bayern 70k, hamburg 60k, berlin 75k, hannover 50k... leverkusen have a 30k seater for a city with a population of 160k
supply & demand
think about it it costs £15 to go to the cinema these days, £20 for a premiership match in London is a bit optimistic
