I loved it in the old Div 2 with players like ****tu . Loved our blood and guts football was bred on that stuff not tippy tappy like Swansea were under Rodgers. Prefer them much more under Laudrup though.

agree with that post, swansea under rogers wound me right up. Pathetic style but Laudrup has sorted them out, with positive football and has brought the best out of WR etc.

I loved our promotion season under olly and I was gutted when we lost at the millienium however I could go back to those days. We also had a shocking period and that was painful to see

My eldests son {last year senior school] school team have made the national schools finals to be played at Burton Albion.His tight wad of a school have laid on coaches at £10 a pop each to go to said final for 100 of his fellow school mates.

Tbf though Isle most sides at a lower level raise there games against premier league opposition, you just have to look at oldham v everton for that. In the long run though, the football is dreadful.

Appreciate we've had to battle our way up the divisions and I have been there and done it. My family thought I was nuts watching us play grimsby and I agree with them. Not going back to those days, and if it was to happen I'd have to find a new sport/interest.

Was in my prime as a supporter in the lower league years, great days and saw parts of the country i would never have visited had i not been following the mighty Rangers.
We all want our team to be in the highest league possible blah blah blah but i do miss those days of travelling up north and filling those tight little away ends.
Said it before i cant get to many games now due to finances and family but would happily go to watch us in the Ryman prem if i had to

I had much more of a laugh watching Rangers in the 1st than i have in the Prem , not saying i want to go back there ,but when your winning regularly the footballing world is a much brighter place ,no matter what division your in.
