But wd be very, very happy for everyone on Saturday afternoon to bring this post back up and remind me that I clearly know nothing about football after a storming Rs win!
Textbook QPR- countless times we've have a couple of good results and then expected to beat anyone and everyone- happened before Fulham and Chelsea last season and Spurs this season. There are no easy away games in the Prem.

So true. Look at Reading. I've watched them bully us off the pitch twice this season, and they are the one team that most prob agree are more or less down.

If Villa is not a must win game (which I think is) then it means the Wigan game becomes one... So, sod the pressure?! The earlier the wins come the whole lot better it is. Remember, regardless of pressure there are still at least 4 or 5 must win games!

Not so sure about that. If we drew every one of our remaining fixture we would be down but probably not by huge amounts.

I think we have plenty of winnable matches.... yes i know that's always said, but in the coming weeks we not only have teams that we should be able to compete with, but a number of them are faltering (similar to Sunderland), such as Norwich, Stoke and of course Villa Reading, Wigan who are up to their necks like us.

The only thing to be certian about is that we've hit a bit of momentum at the absolute perfect time, ie at the beginning of this perceived batch of games which will define our season.

I think a draw with Villa no bad thing, must not lose is paramount.

Further to the opinion that Sunderland could be in trouble, has anyone seen their fixture list? If they don't beat norwich on saturday they have a really hard run of games.

Exactly. They are playing very poor, lack creativity, on the slope and have a very bad fisture list.... i think they could go, shortly followed by MON walking suggesting its nothing to do with him.

apart from the goal on saturday, Green hardly had a save to make. They are the worst team i have seen us play this season. Oh and they have titus bramble!!

Sunderland 9/1 for relegation with some bookies.

Sunderland are in trouble but already have 30 points so probably only need two wins and a draw. Agree the Norwich game is massive for them as they probably have the worst run in of anyone.

Shouldn't really have been a problem for us bearing in mind the players we have at our disposal, although what went on up until then, made it seem almost impossible.

Thing is, if we don't beat Villa, we not only make life more difficult for ourselves in terms of a points total, but allow them a bit of breathing space. So, though not necessarily a must win, would be far better to go for it than to have to beat Arsenal, Everton or Liverpool. Winning all those 6 games would mean that there is no pressure on us to win any of the more difficult ones.

Think we should get at them from the off, just like we did against Sunderland. They are very frail defensively and we need to exploit that to our maximum advantage.

Agreed, letīs "park the bus" upfront this time. In that way we will prevent Benteke to get the ball that often. Ofcourse we have to watch out for him on the break though.
