  • Win at home Draw Away

    Simple... well, simple enough right?

Home games Left 4 - Away Games left 5

    Total Points available - 27

Yes I am aware of all the big Ifs and Buts, however with 12 points available at home alone, this takes us up to 35 (2 Away from probably the golden total)

Meaning we need either two draws or one win to put us in with a chance of staying up.

I think when you look at it like that, it is more than possible. Especially with how we played Yesterday and last week.

The main thing for me, is to NOT lose to Villa. A draw will suffice. We dont want the gap getting bigger, but we cannot afford to lose by going all out attack. I would be very happy with a draw.

I think its more than possible for us to do the unthinkable again and will all our remaining home matches. I have the faith that we can do it. We just need a few good results away from home.

    1. Newcastle, Stoke and Wigan alone are winnable games.

    2. Villa, Fulham, and Reading are all games we can get points from.

    3. Arsenal is hit or miss... if we give it our all we can get a win again, otherwise it could be another nail biting draw.

    4. Everton and Liverpool are bonus points if you happen to win or draw.

37 Points is achievable, but will it be enough this year. Surely it has to be??

I cant help but think it is, we was so far behind in the table it was unreal.. The fact we somehow have caught up is because this year there is a lot of sh1t teams.

I feel Harry has finally got us playing as unit etc etc... That we do look a half decent squad now. The next test really is next week. Can we remain unbeaten!?

Said earlier we are the only team due a good run, all other bottom teams have had theirs. Win at villa and genuinely think we will unbeaten for a while. Mentally a win there is huge

Agreed, long as we don't lose we will be in good shape. Although saying that, even if we lose we can still do it IMO

Yep, Villa will still drop points.

Long way to go, lots of twists to happen

But our form must be spot on once again

Ok good, I was suggesting that...

Winning at home is literally our only hope.. We cannot afford to drop many if ANY at home... Therefore we only need draws away.

Sometimes I think winning away is no more difficult than at home because we're not expected to win and the pressure is OFF us and ON the home team, especially at this stage of the season. For that reason I'm not sure we're any more likely to pick up home wins than away wins.

I think you're right in looking at it in that way...

But we no doubt will pick up more at home that away. Fact.
