  • Is bosingwa...

Our new free kick & corner taker when granero & adel are not in the team?
He seemed to take everything yesterday. Surely there's someone else to deliver a decent ball in.

Not having a go as he played v well I just wondered?
Thank **ck thats all over with !!! need a holiday!!!

Would keep him taking them even with those 2 involved

You seem to have answered your own question.....

His delivery was infinitely better than Adel's, so even if he comes back in id rather have Bos take them.

I think Townsend should take them as he puts the ball in at a good height and with pace

Totally off track but I think Bosinwa & Park have been brilliant in the last 2 games, I'm really impressed
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

only if he can hit the first defender with corners ,and the back of the stand with free kicks

TBH taking a good free kick is more about not messing up or showing off than anything else.
If you are putting an aerial ball into the box you aim for Bobby or Samba and they are good enough that if you dolly it up to them they can make something happen.
That is 90% of it and you don't need a degree in physics to do that - you just need to know your ass from your elbow.

Completely agree, but the worry is that the two egos could go into battle for set pieces. which is something i would rather avoid

Think Bosingwa done well yesterday. putting him on set piece duties has given him responsibility and makes him feel valued. Seems another master stroke from HR as his performance was top drawer.

Agree. Played a part in 2 of the 3 goals too.

Played very well again yesterday. I'm under no illusions he wants to be here, he obviously doesn't care about the club (which showed when he just jogged back to our half without celebrating when Townsend scored & when he ran off down the tunnel the minute the final whistle went), but so long as he puts a shift in for 90 mins a week and does his job then I'm a happy man.

Liked the look of the back 4 yesterday, pretty solid unit and I hope we can play that 4 together for the rest of the season.

He jumped and celebrated Jenas' goal, but did not go for a group hug.
Just watched the game again and he was my MOTM.
