winnable game, villa carry some threat going forward but we finally look capable of scoring goals now, 2 attacking wide players, some muscle up top and Remy's pace is starting to look good.
Fancy whoever scores first will win, we've had 3 draws with them since we came up, so nothing to fear really

Villa will feel a lot of pressure at home, and their fans aren't slow in making their frustrations heard if it doesn't go their way early on. If we start well they could get very nervous which could play into our hands.

They have very young and inexperienced defenders who are prone to mistakes if hassled or put under pressure. Two of them have made goal costing clangers in their last 2 games and if we pressure them high up the pitch we could force errors as they try to "play" their way out.

Benteke is the main threat but he normally bullies defenders.... he's not played against a defender like Samba yet, and his game may be affected if he's on the wrong end of the bullying.... perhaps he could consult Marshy for therapy advice.

We have key players buzzing, Remy has 3 in 4 starts and 2 key goals in out last 2 games. Townsend is flying and having scored his first ever goal will be on cloud 9 and raring to go again. Hoilett showing Blackburn form. Samba bedding in. FB's on top form. Park showing his true class at last. Mbia showing the player he actually is.

Yes we've won 2 in a row, so maybe unlikely to get 3, but its just another game now, the 2 before become irrelevant and we have nothing to fear, go at them and make them worry about us, not the other way around. It is very much winnable, especially if we sort our dead balls out as they have proven weak defending them and with Samba, Hill, Mbia attacking balls that could be fruitfall as well as our quick counters.

Win would be immmense, but a draw would also be excellent.
good post mate and thats calmed me down a bit

Harry has put to bed, since coming, alot of hoodos so three wins in a row could happen under him

He led us to our first win of the season and first away win in over a year, first time we have scored 3 goals in a game since Liverpool last year and first back to back wins in top flight since 1995 so I would certainly not write off 3 wins

And heres an omen for us, last time we won back to back games in the prem guess who we beat to do it yes Villa!!!!

Off topic but I have always questioned how the Romans took berties all over Europe but a few generations later the italians have turned into proper bottle jobs. Probably a question Facto could respond too

We can't really say that considering that is what Reading did

3 wins on the bounce wouldn't surprise me, got a good feeling about it.

I feel we can beat villa. I listened to Lamberts comments after the win and he came out with an outstanding performance etc etc and was acting like they dominated from start to finish.

However after watching them on motd I wasn't overally impressed. I felt they played better against man city but reading had some very good chances. They're clearly weak at the back and I think Remy can have some joy against a young defence. Never rated collins and the other big donkey that played for man city but they don't have any physical presence so I'd hope for a stand out performance from zamora if fit. Benteke is the man Samba needs to keep quiet, it will be like to Grizzley bear fighting for the only female.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Facto has always said he's here for his good looks.

He's a cash in hand, wheeler and dealer, he made fortunes but if you're asking him to be a historian, then you're expecting too much.
