Adel out has forced creative players like Hoilett, Townsend and SWP to raise their game more, which they all did today.
I also wonder if he really was "injured" today.
Injured my arris. Dropped and thrown a paddy. Bosingwa got a rake of abuse for his petulance, yet Adels snotty tantrums get overlooked. If we can loan him out next summer happy days

Been saying it all season watch the team not the player. Tarrabt slows the play down and because he comes short to get the ball allows the opposition to press the ball. He is child like in wanting to get the ball all the time no matter what else is on and in doing so takes the space others need. Poor finisher, slow to see a pass, can't defend or head the ball and is completely self obsessed.
Yes he has ability but simply doesn't know how to use it for the benefit of the team, also has no respect for his team mates, fans or the club. One decent game and he tells us he is off to Barcelona or the like, trouble is no one wants him. Strange not even on the bench, lots of rumors about bust up and storming off etc, again as I have said many times he will end up in the French second division.

My view, for what it is worth....
Taarbs has not had a chance to play with 2 strikers in front of him really. I think he would do well.
We were great today, but we robbed it against Southampton. He has a big part to play yet as he is one of our best. I think to stay up we will need him to come in and play. let's not forget that before his penalty miss he was about the only player other than Cesar that was playing well.

We looked more potent, more pace able to hit a team on the break ? Which we can't do with Adel, slows the game down too much? Remy with a big man looks good. Samba immense ,Bosingwa was excellent Although Im still having a problem coming to terms with what he done?

With regard to the sentiment of the thread title, yes we looked much better without Taarabt in the team, and for me this was the first time Harry's set us up to play like his flying Spurs side of the last 2 years. It was all about a stong central core with Hill, Samba, Mbia and Park, solid attack minded FB's in Bos and Fabio, and flying wingers who attack with great pace and guile to support the livewire finisher and the target man up front. There were counless similarities and that can only be a good thing.
This is what we've all craved and need an attacking team with the ability to contain most stuff thrown at us. WE must hit teams quick on mthe break because that's when they are most vulnerable with less players back to defend.
The debate about whether Adel is good or not is not really relevant. What we need to decide is whether he is a better option than either Hoilett or Townsend in this system, and for me he isn't. He could however be the perfect player to come on and make things happen if needed so a bench role is essential.... if he was asked and refuse (don't know) then he should be left out for a while, as no different to Bosingwa who was castigated by many.
The problem with Adel is he can have blinders, but then starts to play like it's all about him first, team second. He's too greedy and i often question his football brain with many options he takes. Others make runs, get ignored, Adle loses the ball trying a trick, and said others are then way out of position and we get caught out. It must annoy team mates no end, to the point they will not bother making the runs.
Also with Adel, he does slow things down too often (not always) and will often beat a player, then slow up so he can "try" to beat him again. He insists on the ball and players give it to him, often way too deep to impact the opposition, but oppos are wise to this and know if he plays it all goes through him so they can suffocate him and effectively suffocate us... not good. When we have multiple attakcing threats they struggle to contain us.
Also, his shooting is absolutely shocking. The only shooting technique he seems to have nailed is a curler. If he tries to strike through a ball 9 times out of 10 he scuffs his shot and it is awful, so even more frustrating that he always tries to beat someone and shoot from all angles when you know its mostly toothless.
He still has a big part to play, assuming hes not had a hissy fit, but for me he should be on the bench from now on and a means to change things and try a new approach if plan A fails.

IF he has thrown a fit and presuming the fulham waiting for a bus story was true...he should be treated with the same derision as bosingwa.
he states he wants to play for Man u (which is an iffy thing for him to say) but SAF wouldnt tolerate this and he would be gone. as SAF says
disrespect his authority once and you are finished. when he plays next and if he scores will we be treated to another list of clubs he claims
want him or that he would rather play for. if any other player said what he did they would be slaughtered
all three goals at sunderland were due to getting more forward. Remy's deflection from andros shot, then andros and jenas goals were both
second ball around the areaLast edited by QPR71; 10-03-2013, 02:21 PM.

The problem QPR have had with him in the side is that only one striker has played in the team and sometimes none.
