... beating Everton 3-0 in the cup semi at Goodison. Could be good for us as they may well get very distracted by a cup semi and chance of final, most likely defeat and dissapointment, which could mean their league form suffers and they get relegated..... similar to Middlesborough in 96, Birmingham the other year etc....

The point was losing at Wembley could have a devestating effect on the players' morale and impact their league form. Also the fact they normally survivie by a whisker but with an unfamiliar distraction for them in the latter stages of the season this year, it could throw them.Comment
