Jenas deserves praise for Saturday - thought he was excellent in his 40+ minutes on the pitch. Created, passed, tackled, blocked, kept the ball, did everything so much better than Granero had.

I expect Harry must be considering either Jenas of Adel in place of Granero for the Sunderland game.

Jenas can do it, Adel is obviously better but can he get his head to the new system?

Anyway that is probably the only place I would think of changing the Saturday winning team - the rest earned the right to start next game imo

I would give Jenas a run instead of Granero -

The back four seems to be near enough the same as every other week now...

But IMO - Hoillet, Park and Bothroyd all need to keep their place.

I am not an expert, but I have been around for too many years to understand the game, and trust me on this one, Jenas and Bothroyd will take us down to the Championship.

at the moment we need a central midfielder to put his foot on the ball and keep us ticking over. Granero sadly cant do it at the moment. We haven't seen enough of jenas to form that opinion.

We had ale faurlin for that but now it seems we have nobody who can get a hold of the game and just keep the ball.

One of a few things i've learnt is never knock a managers tried & trusted.

Derry is my favourite player, and I posted after the Norwich game earlier on in the season (when everyone was abusing Hill) that he is good enough, although I think Onuoha should get his place.

Agreed - keeping the system and players is a no brainer decisions by and large. Changing a winning team is often a mistake.
Just that Jenas was so far better than Granero on Saturday when he replaced him that the Spaniard is the one change that would not surprise me.

I don't think there is any midfielder at the club who can really claim that role. They are at the stage before that where you are glad if they just pass to a team mate and Jenas done that way better on Saturday.
Adel is the obvious exception in the midfield - I think he has the technical capacity to do it - but does he have that mindset to work in the system that won against Southampton - maybe Harry can get into his head this week, otherwise on form Jenas would start ahead of Granero for me.
