Believe me that I say this with goodwill, you need to chill out man. Go get a good meal or snack and watch a movie, read a book, rest up. This forum will still be here after that and you'll be in a clearer state of mind.
Well people are thinking that Bothroyd will save us, he won't, and neither will Park on the right side of the midfield, as I said two months ago, Park is a decent player, but for a team like us, as a right back, at Man Utd he could play on the wing because they had goals elsewhere in the side, for us, he can't, because we need Townsend there, but I think Park is better than Bosingwa defensively, and that is why we need him as right back in the team I suggested. I am not forcing my views into anyone's heads, I just want people to wake up and see the bigger picture.

Marshy, whether you truly feel that way or not, your posts (including the reply you just posted to mine) give most readers the impression that you believe yourself to be infallible and have no wish to discuss anything, that you only want to be heard, that you have no interest in what others have to say. It is an extremely difficult task to change any person's mind on an online discussion forum, especially if you make it obvious that your own mind is closed on the matter.

        Introspect.

Had an excellent game, broke up play and put more miles in than any other player, not to mention his assist.

One average game with one assist doesn't make up for the previous pi$$ poor performances
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

So in the same day we have you spouting off about Park as a RB and Mackie as a DM....total WUM who i am not convinced is even a QPR fan. Probably a Fulham Tarquin imo.

On a more serious note; He did impress me a lot against Soton. It seems like Harry has done wonders on his confidence. Abilitywize, he must have been carried a knock for a long time.
We all could say H has done the same for Bothroyd well all bar 2 of us

Perhaps he didnt have a good enough game for you, but his contribution for the winner was possibly more than Mackie has produced all season playing on the right hand side.

As for Onuoha in place of Hill, you are kidding? Hill wins more headers and gets in far more blocks and tacles than Onuoha.

Whilst I think Taarabt is a hugley talented player, I agree with Shearer's assessment of him (he is not using his ability to threaten opposition anywhere near enough).
I think having both Bothroyd and Remy in attack will cause more problems for defences than having Taarabt playing behind the latter.
As for Mackie in central midfield...hmmm.

Couldnīt agree more. And thatīs a step in the right direction as far as Park is concerned aswell. Thatīs what I wanted to say with this thread.

Parks second start in the premier league since October. He will play better and better if gets playing time and stays fit. TF seems to be a Park fan boy based his latest tweet. Hopefully the fans will give him a second chance. Some spectators will always believe he is just running around with no goal but I think most will understand his play eventually. I hope he will one day become a fan favorite here.

Good game and the second goal is his. Works hard, good technique and intelligent.

I am getting worried about Hill. Every now and then he has one of those performances, like against Liverpool. I think Onuoha has played well this season, playing out of his natural position too.

Mackie in CM would work, he has the energy, and with Diakite behind him and Tarbs in front of him, it would be perfect. Plus, he is better than other CMs on the right wing, so if he found himself in that position, he would do better than Granero or Mbia.

Park is not bad. Far from it. I just think he is rubbish in midfield for us. Park is one of those players who does better when he has other good players around him. But when he doesn't, then his contribution is poor.

I would prefer him to Bosingwa at RB though. I think Park is experienced enough and intelligent enough to put a good shift in.
