The Park/Bothroyd goal was the worst combination we could have got

When we found out the team yesterday we reckoned that nobody could have predicted it - and that presumably included the saints management, who presumably had a plan based around neutralising Adele if needed. Harry took a gamble - and it worked -so our hopes live on. I also thought Park and Bothroyd had good games. As the season nears the end a squad will be needed - on paper ours looks good, if players like Park and Bothroyd play at their best.

I don't buy your logic on wrapping the season's results on the combination of Park/Bothroyd vs Townsend/Tarbs. It's severely myopic in that it ingores the other aspects of the team's game that has created the placement we are in, like our woeful defending for the first half of the year. The club has won 3 games the whole season - focusing on these players ain't going to be the turning point for the club. In my humble opinion it's your hate on for Park and love for Tarb that's showing through rather than looking at the whole team set up. Tarb has been **** for a number of games now (again in imo) with his selfish decisions. Park and Bothroyd should have the opportunity to redeem their play and if they do, they should be rewarded with more play time to build on it and not brushed aside.

I was very impressed with Jay yesterday and to be honest when called upon this season he has delivered the goods. Park however was poor again yesterday , one assist doesn't make up for the poor performances in all the previous games he has featured in

Why moan at Jay? he scored the winning goal! He came in for Zamora who isn't fit.

I think HR is right for resting Adel, he hasn't been at his best lately and a coupld of games break will do him wonders.
