You remind me of when I was 8, when I had a sticker album and used to sit there all day worshipping players. Then I grew up and started assessing football with a critical eye.

To you all our players might be great and good enough to play for Barcelona, to me, they aren't. I might love the likes of Derry, it still does not change the fact that as a Premiership footballer, he is sh1te. And the same goes for most of the team, that is why we were near the bottom last season, and that is why we're botton this season. I am not a Tarbs fan, if you actually read posts without blindly hero-worshipping Harry, you would see I was one of the first ones to criticise Tarbs' set-pieces, you would see that I blame him for not scoring against Man City, you would see I blame him for a poor penalty against Norwich, and you would see I blame him partially for Warnock getting the sack.

That said, he's the best player we have had in a generation, you might get excited seeing sh1te like Mackie and SWP running around all day and trying, I don't. I want to see skill players, and I want to see Tarbs become into a great player at QPR, not some other club.

I think you cleared up any ambiguity in your position some time ago Marshy, probably several hundred posts back. Why not go for a walk, have a rest, think about something else for a bit? Everybody has made their points, I don't see many opinions changing, so probably best that everyone respects that others see things differently to them - is that OK?

Sounds fair, I saw Tarbs getting unfair abuse, I made my point, and I'll leave it at that until the next time Tarbs plays and has a poor game and this whole cycle starts again.

He hasn't lived up to filling Stan Bowles' shirt.....I don't hate Tarbs btw he's a good player ...........but he isn't good enough on his own, he needs players like Derry Mbia and maybe even Mackie, and like it or not the team looked to have more cohesion about them and players stepping up to the plate

Never said he is in the same league as Marshy or Bowles. Not until he proves it at the top level for a few seasons can we mention his name in the same sentence as the likes of Marshy. That said, it still doesn't change the fact he's the most skillful player we have had in a generation.

The manager that finally susses out he's a natural 9 (and a proper 9, not just a hold up merchant) is going to be quids in. I think Harry alreadys suspects that - he was the man who turned Bale from a full back in a struggling side into a household name. The problem is figuring out exactly how we set up going forward and like I said I don't think Harry is sure yet, his priority was stopping the goals going in at the other end. But it really wouldn't surprise me to see AT deployed again as he was at Chelsea.

Proper 9s take defenders on and shoot at will and have good upper body strength. He's got it all. Chelsea was Harry's toe in the water. Please god...
