    Nothing to correct.

Bale played his first game for Spurs in a friendly against St. Patrick's Athletic on 12 July 2007, but was substituted on the 80th minute with a minor dead-leg. He made his competitive debut for Tottenham Hotspur on 26 August [2007] away against Manchester United.

And Bale was born on 16 July 1989

Therefore, Bale was 18 years old when he made his Premier League debut.

So the 8 games dont count no...

Modric was far from the player he is now in those first few months at Tottenham anyway.

They may have been top 6 but very much average compared to the team they have now.

No, you stated he was 18 when he signed.

Bale at 17/18 was a very different player to the one he is today, so I don't get the comparison to Adel anyway.

            Yes, I did.

And before that I had written:

(Not to mention Bale made his competitive debut for Spurs when he was 18.)

The second time around I got it wrong. Still, at least I was a lot more accurate than you were. You claimed he played his games when Spurs did not win for 26 games in the PL when he was 17, when in fact he signed for them when he 17 years and 10 months old.

I agree there is no comparison. Adel has always played in a team surrounded by sh1te, yet people are happy to compare him with players like Bale who have grown up playing in a team full of good players.

Splitting hairs over a couple of months that separate him being 17 to 18, christ almighty...

Happy to point out you were wrong since you seem to take pleasure in doing it with others or exposing their 'lies' as you say.

I think im done with this conversation about Bale now.

Really not sure what to make of it TBH Dave. It does seem like a really strange comment.

Yeah, I'm Foolham, oh, wait, I'm Chelski. No, I was born in Brentford, so I am Brentford!

You remind me of when I was 8, when I had a sticker album and used to sit there all day worshipping players. Then I grew up and started assessing football with a critical eye.

To you all our players might be great and good enough to play for Barcelona, to me, they aren't. I might love the likes of Derry, it still does not change the fact that as a Premiership footballer, he is sh1te. And the same goes for most of the team, that is why we were near the bottom last season, and that is why we're botton this season. Oh, I forgot, to you we're always near the bottom because it is all Tarbs' fault!

I have come to the conclusion you're Foolham. You're always looking to knock our best player, and always looking to say the team is doing good when we're doing sh1te, and always calling others Foolham, probably to hide the fact that you are Foolham!!!

Christ you must have been a nightmare to talk football with before that evolution

Tarrabt was at Spurs during that period and couldn't hack it but ignore that small point, Adel.
